What is CTET?
CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is not a direct recruitment exam by itself; it is an eligibility test used by many central-school and applicable recruitment systems. Candidates should check the recruitment notification separately after qualifying CTET because every teaching recruitment can have its own post-wise rules.
CTET Paper 1 vs Paper 2

For candidates targeting primary-stage teaching. Focus areas include child development, language, mathematics and environmental studies.
Paper 2
For candidates targeting upper-primary teaching. Focus areas include child development, languages and either maths/science or social studies.
Both Papers

90-Day CTET Preparation Plan
Days 1–30
Read the Information Bulletin, select Paper 1/Paper 2, finish child development basics and start language practice.
Days 31–60
Complete subject pedagogy, practice topic-wise MCQs and revise NCERT-level concepts.
Days 61–90
Attempt full mocks, analyze weak topics, revise pedagogy notes and keep documents ready.
