What Semi-Finalists Should Prepare For

The official programme page describes an 11-day bootcamp and national pitch sequence. Participants are expected to visit Samsung Research Institute Bangalore, Samsung Research Institute Delhi and Noida, and Samsung’s Southwest Asia office in Gurugram before training and prototype work at IIT Delhi.

Teams then receive lab access to improve their prototypes and pitch to a jury involving Samsung and Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer experts. Twenty teams are expected to progress to the Grand Finale.

Why This Matters for Student Careers

For students interested in AI, product development, entrepreneurship and applied engineering, the programme offers more than a competition credential. The next stage emphasises problem definition, prototyping, pitching, mentoring and exposure to industry research environments—skills that can strengthen project portfolios and future internship or placement interviews.
