JKSSB Warder Eligibility
The notification sets an unusual qualification band: the minimum qualification is Matriculation, while the maximum is 10+2 from a recognised board or institution. Candidates with a qualification above the stated ceiling should not assume eligibility; read Annexure A of the official PDF carefully.
A valid J&K domicile certificate must be held by the cut-off date. For Open Merit, the upper age limit is 40 years; reserved categories listed in the notification generally have a 43-year ceiling. Age is reckoned as on 1 January 2026, with exact permitted birth-date ranges specified in the PDF.
Selection Process and Physical Tests
